We and our collaborators may film, photograph, and gather information in public spaces and, where lawful, in private settings. At times this work is independent (not commissioned) and undertaken as media and newsgathering.

• Freedom of expression: Our editorial activities are protected by applicable free‑expression and press laws (e.g., Charter s.2(b) in Canada and the First Amendment in the United States), subject to lawful limits.

• Ethical collection: Footage, images, quotes, and information are obtained ethically and, where required, with consent or another lawful basis.

• Editorial independence and removals: We generally do not remove or alter publications upon request. We may remove or modify content if compelled to by law, where it is lawful to do so, or in our editorial discretion.

• Corrections/retractions: If by error a publication unintentionally includes something later found to be false, we may issue a correction or retraction.

• Commissioned work: Even when we are paid to film on your site or to create a paid editorial, unless otherwise agreed in a signed writing, we retain editorial control and ownership of the created materials. You are granted rights to use the deliverables for your purposes, and we may also publish them across our channels (web, print, social media, or in‑person by our representatives, such as at in person movie theaters or conferences or in general for public viewing including public facing screens in business establishments).

• Intellectual property: We retain rights in our recordings, edits, and written articles; you may also hold or receive rights per your agreement. Third‑party rights are respected under license, fair dealing/fair use, or other lawful exceptions.

• Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability arising from lawful newsgathering, editorial judgment, and the artistic presentation of factual content. Nothing here limits any rights or remedies that the law requires.

• Community and VIP programs: We host a community channel at members.findyou.ca for chat, connection, and collaboration. We also operate a VIP program in which consumers may purchase a seasonal pass, while businesses, schools, and charities may participate at no charge. We reserve the right to admission, moderation, and exclusion.

• Opt‑in communications: For community/VIP participation we collect account details to provide login access, newsletter updates, and (optional) SMS marketing. Participation is opt‑in, and you may opt out at any time. See Cookies & tracking and Privacy and SMS Data for details.
